This piece is inspired by the protagonist of the novel La Tribuna by the Coruña writer Emilia Pardo Bazán. Archetype of freedom, a woman with a shout in her chest who like many others were not afraid to raise her voice and preserve her lineage in defense of her ideals and rights.

Amparo lives in every cell of contemporary women.

This format is designed for rooms and/or auditoriums. The proposal includes the presentation of the dance solo Amparo followed by the documentary Amparo on the other side, which collects in a testimonial way the experience of the former cigar makers of the Tobacco Factory of A Coruña, a symbol of the feminist movement in the city.

Led by Xulia Santiso and Ana Marciá, we delve into history and meet again with the figure of Emilia Pardo Bazán.
